“We rescued a draw from defeat but suffered another beating including the death of Throatripper!
We started off with a quick td though a risky quick pass (after a good, short Necro kick) almost left us done. The Necros had started strong and continued with 4 rats in the ko box after turn 4. The apo had to go to work on Skeetz to get him back into the game after a clumsy dodge. Zombies then started doing good work with the boot too, which the ref turned a blind eye too. And then in turn 8 Throatripper who was amongst zombies was blitzed by the frenzied Wolf Mr P and ripped apart! After 5 games of causing casualties the Rat Ogres had started to show what effect he could do but alas no more. 2 big player losses in the last two games and we stumbled to half time low on numbers as a rookie Wolf (Carrion) took the equaliser.
Second half we struggled, Skratz had an attempt to get the ball carrier but it failed and he soon also was carted off to the ko box. In the end with only 2 Skaven left on the pitch rookie Zloos Tharlo V saw a chance to save some pride as he launched an attack at the ghoul carrying the ball. A clash of heads and they both went down. In the shock that followed neither side could hold onto the ball until it was too late and the game ended in a draw!
