“As the SSL squadron emerged from hyperspace near the outer rim they discovered a scouting party of Amazonia ships readying to secure the sector. Commander Murker smiled grimly. 'Poor buggers' he thought. The Amazonian ships relied on a primative but effective cloaking device for protection, but all six of the Commander's Battle Cruisers had cloaking visual frequency descrambles as standard issue kit, putting the advarsairy at a severe disadvantage. Coupled with the fact that four of the cruisers had turbo lazers which could rip through the weak enemy shields almost effortlessly, the battle should prove to be quick and decisive.
And it was. SSL squadron opened fire first and forced 3 enemy ships out of the sector. Each subsequent round at least one more Amazonian vessel was forced back into hyperspace or destroyed. After only 4 rounds of fire the battle was over and the Amazonian civilization of Salix was forced to concede almost a full galactic unit of CRystal Redemption to the Murker's cause.”
