“Yet another bloodbath in a tough line of Raider bloodbaths suffered here. Even trying to get new Gutter Runners experience is challenging as they keep being killed off.
First half we scored quite quick as the rookie GRs combined and Zloos scored. After a drop by Jet when receiving we charged 5 players across the pitch but he recovered, got the ball to Claude who bounded off towards the endzone. Some delay meant the rookies caught up with him but he managed to dodge away to equalize. We now started to be down on numbers though one Wolf was out.
With two turns left we only just managed to get the 2nd. Skeetz who ran forward was taken down but managed to get up and dodge to the endzone. Throt pushed way a wight to help Skratz get the ball to Zloos, who then passed to Skeetz for the score.
2nd half was a bloodbath. With a blitz we charged forward and again the charge didn't quite work out. Crucially the bounce of the kicked ball just went away from Skeetz so Lee could grab the ball and get it to Jet and safety. Chuck then went on the rampage. He ended with 5 casualties including retirement causing injuries to both new runners! His performance was truly exceptional. Also the apo was not up to the task of helping us again. Skeetz did get a good assisted chance to take down Jet in turn 4 but alas it didn't work out. The Necros eventually scored at the end of the match, past the battered Skaven bodies. Well done to coach Jonesbones, who is gaining experience at an incredible rate. Our rebuild looks no closer! But we are poorer..
