“The Bommaz' second match saw them lined up against a formidable Khemri team, the Gizeh Globetrotters. With four mummies in the Khemri line, the Orcs knew they were going to have a tough time breaking through.

The first half saw the Khemri team advancing slowly towards the Orcs endzone, smashing their way through all resistance the Bommaz put up. By turn six the Khemri team were lining up for a touchdown before halftime, but a valiant attack by the Orcs stopped the undead team just in time, although the assault did put a number of Orcs out of action for the rest of the game.

The second half saw the Bommaz receiving the ball and attempting to build a rather feeble looking cage. The Khemri team, who (for now) outnumbered the Orcs, surrounded the cage and smashed through it with ease. With very few options left, the Orcs attempted to switch play to the opposite flank and push their way up. The sudden advance obviously inspired the Bommaz as they began the fight of their lives, maiming and even killing(?) the Khemri (killed a Mummy too, but he was saved by regeneration). A small skeleton shield was smashed, allowing the Bommaz new recruit, Grimmjaw WoundOpener, to break through and out of range of the undead hands. A sprint along the entire field let Grimmjaw cross the Khemri endzone in the final turn, leading the Fighta Bommaz to a second victory. With lineman Erikk HopSplat the only serious injury for the Orcs, the Bommaz celebrated their well fought win long into the night.

Started a game against Kane looking to play against his Dark Elves, but loading his Khemri by accident, it was decided to play them instead. I always knew it would be a tough game and I wasn't disappointed. The whole game definitely belonged to Kane, with only a few dice rolls letting him down in key places. With no unnecessary fouling and some memorable events, this will definitely be a game to remember for me. A great opponent and a challenging game. Thank you again Kane.”
