“Elfs played a horrible offensive drive in first half, got severely outplayed by a well-constructed and Tackle-laden Necro side, but somehow emerged unscathed thanks to a failed Turn 8 catch. Second half was Nuffle-inspired comedy for both sides. I went back into the numbers: Elfs failed 46% of dodges (35 total, nine 3+, the rest 2+). 37% of dodge rolls were 1's. Only one in 9 3+ rolls succeeded (mainly Blitzer trying to escape his Tackle Wight babysitter). Turn 16 failed Elf GFI for the win was fitting end to a game that was in neither coach's control at any point.”
