The trial of blood certainly lived up to its name in the Brawler’s third game. Unfortunately the Brawler’s couldn’t get anything going on offense early and after having a few players depart the pitch to some surprisingly bashy slann, a desperate attempt to run down the sideline was thwarted. From there the game continued to go downhill as Brawler’s players left the field in droves. Both of the O’Leary brothers were killed, Jimmy and Handy suffered serious career ending head injuries and Douglass “The Bouncer” Quinn’s career was ended with a shattered knee. The Brawler’s will have to spend a bit of time rebuilding to get up to SWL league standards before the start of the season.”
