“How does one describe this match?

Well, we started with a perfect defense that eventually allowed Shindahl to steal the ball. The rest of the first half saw Shrieking Bloodstorm brutalize the Norse until Zeerak scored his 7th goal in 17 games on turn 6. Then the Dirty Warriors made a good attempt at a 2 turn touchdown but missed the final pass to score.

The second half went crazy. 6 Norse were out while only 1 skink and 2 Saurus were missing, and Zerlako sets up an extremely deep defense.. and then a Pitch Invasion stuns 6 of the remaining Shrieking Bloodstorm.. but the kick goes out and Zeerak takes the touchback. Saurus were removed. Norse were removed. Krrronk was fouled out. Bezerkers were sent off in stretchers. Skinks were blitzed. Ulfwerener's were smashed. Saurus were bashed. Runners tripped and died. Saurus tripped on a GFI (fail re-roll!!) and Suddenly in turn 6, Zeerak has lost the ball while standing on the goal line of the norse end zone.

End of Turn 7. 3 Saurus left on the field. 4 Norse on the field. No skinks (Shindahl having been fouled and niggled but the apo saving him). 1 Norse ties up each Saurus, the norse ball carrier has the ball 5 squares away from the Shrieking Bloodstorm endzone.. and 5 squares away from Tallac, who is on his back, and has a bad leg and is only speed 5. 1-0 for Shrieking Bloodstorm still. Zeerak smashes the hip of McCorkle. The other standing Saurus pushes the random norse lineman around. Tallac gets up.. dodges.. FAIL.. re-roll! SUCCESS! GFI! GFI! And puts a tackle zone on the ball carrier. The Norse covering Tallac blitzes and SKULL pro re-roll FAIL BADLY HURT.

Game over, 1-0. Utterly crazy game. Nuffle didn't know what he wanted except.. lots and lots of damage. Blood everywhere.
