“When cheese fails vs Pro Wrestlers

Pro Wrestlers first game of the season saw them squaring up to Henu's horrible Orc outfit When Cheese Fails. The Orcs started with no less than 7 St4 players and of course a St5 Troll. With all that St about the Elves were feeling a little uneasy about their opening game especially after their Star Blitzer Andre the Giant brutally killed in the cup final.

The Elves won the toss and opted to kick as it was raining and the elves saw the horrified look on the clumsy orcs faces. Though nuffle smiled upon them as the weather changed just before kick off.

The Orcs immediately screened the ball then started pummeling the Elves, though the elves went down their armour stayed true and the elves were the first to draw blood; badly hurting the St4 MB Tackle orc blitzer. After this the orcs weren't quite so quick to leave their players in the poncy elves tackle zones and instead tried to punch a hole in the defence first. But the Orcs just couldn't hurt the elves and the elves just zonal defended for the half causing a shut out. The elves did manage to pop the ball free from the orc throwers hand in the 2nd to last turn which gave them a chance of scoring before the break but the elves got too exited and snaked a dodge to collect the ball. But they had done enough, the orcs couldn't score.

The 2nd half kicked off and the orcs were clearly riled by the elves defensive strategy and they quickly altered their defensive set up at kick off which threw the elves leaving much of their team in orc tackle zones. The Pro Wrestlers just grabbed the ball and ran deep in to their half before trying to break down the solid orc wall, once the ball was safe the LoS elves tried dodging away from the green tide but again fell at the first attempt. Fortunately the orcs failed to land any meaningful blocks and then elves then skipped away for a fairly straight forward touchdown.

With 5 turns left the orcs had a chance of pulling the game level, but their moronic fans started throwing chairs at the elves fans. Once the stadium owners calmed the riot down the play continued but the ref forgot to stop his watch so the orcs lost a whole turn. This made it easier on the elves who just shut up shop and set their typical zonal D line in front of the orcs who could not penetrate.
