“After a 4-0 massacre at the hands of the first goblin team he'd faced the head coach was sufferng from a bout of gobliophobia and hired an additional apothecary and 2 babes from Bloodwiser Ice to shore up the dugout. He'd thought about giving the crafty gobbo's a taste of their own medicine but decided that a potential man disadvantage at the reset could force him to field it sooner than he would want.

With the goblins recieving it was all about defence. Unsure as to whether they would field a LOS monster or a saw the team was set deep. The linemen held as best they could until an opportunity presented itself. A possible blitz on the pogoer was given up to get rid of the saw early, however overcommiting afterwards saw the pogoer slip through for a td.

The second drive of the 1st half was one nuffle was watching with the goblin pogoer going solo to blitz Abe before slipping over and hurting himself trying to blitz Sonny. Sonny... He definately saved the first half after an abysmal effort by Abe to catch the perfect pass he'd gifted him. Saying enough was enough Sonny dug deep and showed those goblins what dodging is all about.

With the chainsaw and pogoer gone and only the fanatic left available to the goblins the 1st drive of the 2nd was all about speed. No catchers were yet at the disposal of the head coach so it had to be done bodily. He presented few targets to the fanatic with his ploy and Abe marched down the field to redeem himself.

After a goblin collapsed going for the line the USV were back on the attack with the numbers in their favour and it was only a matter of time until Abe crossed the line for his second td of the match.

Another desperate attempt was made at the human end zone but the goblin crumbled as he hit the ground after being thrown.

Both teams were awarded handsomely in gold for their efforts on the pitch.”
