“Black Cup - Round 3:

It was raining so we decided to kick off to start the game - and the strategy worked as the dwarves struggled a bit with the ball - when the did recover it, they left it open to a blitz and we claimed the ball and the early 1-0 advantage. On the next drive, we again made a blitz for the ball and it was on the ground again - however, to do so we took a bothdown (instead of wrestle) with our legend Fiona...this used up our apoth for the game. However, the turnover resulted in another score and 2-0 advantage going into halftime.

We received and the dwarves gave up at this point - just fouling our 3 legends as much as possible - ignoring the ball, we scored again...and it was more of the same really - they did move the ball, but we swatted that down - so it was back to more fouling. The ref was blind...but the fouls were weak.

Moving on - not much excitement in this one - other than wondering if our early apoth would result in a perm to a key player later in the match.”
