First half went pretty much to plan. Azure did get the two turn equalizer, but still we get to the 2nd half up a player. Then.....nothing. KO after KO for the rats, nothing for the pact. Anyway, the rebuilding started with Azure killing off the troll. Niggled clawpomber was retired after the game, the Death Squad will enter a new, and hopefully better, era soon.

Rematch of the Wheel of Chaos finals...so this game was one we both were looking forward to. The teams were similar to last time - but the chaos pact had more depth and we had Sam. A game that was decided by positioning and KOs more than CAS bashing. We suffered 2 CAS on turn 1...but that is all that Jiger's squad would inflict. We gave up the score, but did a chainpush to force the ballcarrier into the endzone to leave 2 turns for us to equalize - which we did.
With score 1-1 starting second half - it was all about gaining numbers - which thanks to our rat ogre we were able to do just that. We stalled out the half and got the T16 score. A good effort to one turn score to force OT failed - and we move on.

Really this was an awesome game for Sam Axe (Rat Ogre) - it does not show up on the stat sheet (so I figured I would make record of it here). In the second half:

...No other blocks or fouls by our side removed anyone in the second half - it was all Sam. Taking out the clawpombers was huge - they were limited to only 2 blocks in the second half drive.”
