“The Bommaz first game against an Amazon team (my first too), and the Orcs obviously underestimated the tropical ladies' prowess. The first half saw the Orcs cage up on the flank in an attempt to push their way forward, but that broke down and allowed the Amazons to grab their first touchdown. The second half was more of the same, with the Bommaz pinning the Amazons along the sideline. The ladies had obviously oiled themselves up before the match though, as they continuously dodged past the defenders. A few that were caught and pushed into the crowd didn't even get hurt! The Orcs had an opportunity to take possession in turn five but failed yet again, allowing the Amazons to speed off to a second score. The final few turns saw a turbo-boosted charge up the wing by one of the Orc Blitzers who fell spectacularly going for it. With no hope of scoring, the Orcs took the opportunity for a punch up, but failed to do ANY damage! The only injury coming when an Amazon fell dodging and badly hurt herself. Even a feeble attempt to get a short pass completion failed, ending the match in a 2-0 defeat for the Orcs.

A good game, not a lot that made it stand out, except me failing both the dice that would've got me the ball and stopped them scoring a second TD, and the dice for the gfi that could've got me a TD in the penultimate turn. Oh well, thems the breaks. (Damn you Nuffle!) MVP points got another +1MA for another linesman though. : )”
