“The Final of the second ALIEN Invitational tournament: the killers versus the speed demons. The Clownz had powered their way to the final (their second major final), having defeated favourites Fork Tongued Touch in the first round, and then destroying their rivals Yancy Street Gang in the semi finals: killing 2 Chaos Warriors and Beastman. The Revolutions began their campaign in less thrilling fashion, drawing against the declined prowess of the Stinking Skinks on a snow-covered pitch. But in their semi final encounter against reigning MCCC Open champions, Geckos Lizardia, they triumphed 3-1 with Adama Juani stealing the show.

Before this final talk was rambant about who would prove the key: the powerhouse It (closing in on Hannibal's all time record of 36 casualties), or would it be Juani - the one turn wonder?

Clownz dominated the first half, knocking the rats off the pitch. It was a parade of a touch-down, with Claus notching up the first. One turn remained of the half and all eyes fell on Juani: he was given the ball and raced towards the end zone with his 10 mv and finally 3 additional sprint moves: 1-1!

The second half began with the Revolutions kicking off: again, the same one turn tactic was put into play. The Clownz were ready this time, having placed their key players on the back field to act as a barrier. But again, it was of little use, as Juani whizzed past players, using his 5ag to great advantage: 2-1!

The Clownz recieved, having 8 turns to score an equaliser and to destroy as much of the rats as possible, thereby providing a victory on spps. They dominated the middle of the pitch, with little resistance from the Revolutions squad. Fearing a defeat in the event of a draw, Juani speeded into action in the middle of the park, blitzing the ball carrier. The ball fummbled on the ground, and in the melee, Juani was able to nab it and speed away from the crowd. 3 Clownz player surrounded him, with It blitzing into action: the moment all the fans had been waitng for, perhaps a glorious death for the gutter runner king. But no! Two dice, but no definitive knock-down; reroll: again, no knock-down, with It's lack of tackle-skill coming up short. Surrounded by 3 players, Juani was able to dodge his way out of trouble and speed down towards the end-zone scoring his and Revolutions third touch-down of the day.

With the game all lost, the Clownz came out fighting towards the end of the game, claiming a consolation second touch-down to make the final score 3-2. Despite dominating, the Clownz lost the cup due to the freakish speed and skill of one player: Adama Juani.”
