“[145] Rookie League Season XI

Well, my return to my beloved Chaos Dwarfs picked up pretty much where my last attempt ended: in clumsy, frustrating failure!

The first half wasn't too bad, the Pact couldn't get forward through the centre and the pass options were shut off (apart from an incredibly nimble Dark Elf...). However, Hoofmeister went down to a one dice marauder block and the apo managed to turn his broken leg into a fractured arm - quite the magic trick. Elsewhere, Zharg Madeye killed himself on a double both down block. It was that sort of performance.

Second half the Brutals struggled forward but the cage had too many hobgoblins and not enough dwarf muscle. The Pact swarmed it mid-pitch, the hobgoblin ball carrier blew a dodge and the ball bounced around for the remainder of the half.

At the end of it we were lucky to get a draw. Jokor played well and if not for blowing critical roles at critical times, should have won!
