This game was a comedy of errors for the lizards. The first elf block of the game put a Saurus in the badly hurt box. By the time they had made 18 blocks, a total of three Saurus were down and out amidst the casualties. Seeing that their big brothers wrere lonely, one of the skinks KO'd himself on a dodge and never came back.

At the start of the second half the Lizards had 7 against 11. There was still hope, but some incredibly clumsy skinks who couldn't pick up the ball with their tiny t-rex arms put paid to that. There was no come back, the elves turned the ball over and ran in an easy second.

The positive for the league is that there were no permanent injuries. The defeat has certainly given the coach cause for concern though!”
