“Tale of two halves in this one the Wood Elves kicked off to start the game and proceeded to take all four casualties that the rats dished out but scored twice to take a 2-0 lead into the break but were down to 9 elves. Then came half # 2 which started wit he rats blitzing catching the ball and scoring on their turn 1. The Woodies hung in and took out the AG 4 blitzer who had done so much damage in half one and scored in turn 3. The rats proceeded to one turn to get the lead back to 1 with 5 turns left. The elves tried to push the ball down the sideline but the superior numbers of the rate allowed them to cut it off. Out of rerolls the elves tried to move back and reset. It failed a dodge away from the lone Skaven blitzer left on the field with tackle. With one dodge to get to the ball the blitzer dashed in and seperated the ball from the rookie catcher. The rats were unable to grab the ball but moved into position and watched a poor wood elf try and dodge away from Rat Ogre Ghostmaker and get tangled in the tail and wipe out allowing the gutters to grab it up and score on turn 7 to tie the game at 3. Looking like OT the rats decided extra time would take away from their other goals of world domination and called a second blitz. The kicker expertly placed the ball on the other side from the Woodelves set up for a one turn attempt and the sure handed gutter caught the ball in a mega cage. The wardancer leaped in and wrestled the rat to the ground but the rats where able to pick it up and end the game with an improbable 4-3 win following a four td second half out burst.
