The Lizards were epically lucky, and were given a touchback and a clear pitch by turn 5.
Feeling confident, we headed into the next drive. Although the Lizards didn't exactly fail much, they couldn't recreate the carnage of those first few turns, and enough rats just kept coming back that we couldn't create an impervious defence, and some pouring rain meant that we couldn't risk giving our Sure-Handser a chance with the ball.

Three great rat gods remained on the pitch-- one of blitzing, one of stripping, and one of scoring. Try as we might, there was just not enough we could do to keep the ball from the hands of those three. The rats further demonstrated some fairly epic episodes of their own, with some impressive dodging feats.

It should not be too surprising that despite being consistently outmanned 6-7 to 10-11, the rats managed to score 3 times in the second half.
