“You have to have a certain mentaility with Goblins, expected the unexpected. You also need some luck, and to be honest, I can't work out if I was really unlucky, or really lucky!
My opponents first Block was 2 Dice against on my Ball and Chain, which was KO'd. I made a gap to his ball carrier for my chainsaw to attack 1 ... reroll 1.
I still managed to down his ball carrier. Then one of his other players goes into a zone, picks up the ball (4+), dodges through a zone (4+), makes nother dodge (3+) and scores.
They kick to me, Blitz against. We somehow manage to recover and get the ball downfield to score for 1-1, with the Pogo killing a Wight on the way!
Second half starts, Blitz against (again). We get the ball in range of the end zone, but naturally the 3+ (with reroll) is failed and results in another injured Goblin.
Lots more Blocks, lots more casualties and suddenly the ball is on the floor. We grab it, run like the wind and get within range. The opponent tried to Blitz and his Wight fails the GFI.
Goblins everywhere hold their breath and Pound dodges, runs to the end zone and GFI's for the T16 Touchdown and an unlikely win.
It certainly is a crazy life with Goblins, but this takes crazy to a whole new level!
Thanks for the game Boonegotti.”
