“Bayshore Bitter Match Report
The inability of the Brawlers to get the ball over the line in clutch situations has been the story of their second half of the season. Unfortunetly, this was once again the case for the Brawlers in what was a very entertaining tit-for-tat game against Public Service Announcement. The Brawler’s were lead by their three Warriors who managed to outclass their PSA counterparts and utilize their strengths to block key areas of the field during the first drive of the game. Eventually the ball was popped free and the Rover was running for the finish line but was hit and dropped the ball just as the half time whistle went. Things looked good for the second half but a few key players were unable to make it back out on the pitch, suffering from concussion. The Rover tried his best to get the team the numbers advantage but with each opponent taken off the pitch, one of the Brawlers was in return. Time got the better of the Brawlers in the end as they left it too late to run for the endzone, finishing in a 0-0 draw.
