This was a tough back and forth game that pitted the skilled Dark Elves against the crude but strong Lizardmen. Early on the speed and agility of the Elves dominated, as they putting three skinks in the hospital and ran in an early touchdown, before shutting down the Lizard counter drive.

But attrition took its toll on the Dark Elves. Ancient Monster the Krox had an outstanding game (despite repeatedly bone heading at awkward moments - anyone would think he was a bit dumb) putting three Dark Elves on Elves. A Saurus accounted for another and one of the Witch Elves took herself out on a failed go for it.

The numbers advantage of the Lizards provded critical. They were able to run in a 2nd half equaliser and break up the Dark Elf counter drive, but some spirited blitzer work denied the Lizards a winning TD.

Overtime dawned with the Lizards with a decisive number advantage and they received the kick off. A methodical drive down the side lines was opposed by everything the Dark Elves could muster, but the Lizards were able to ride out some dangerous moments to run in a winning TD.
