“The Cult's fans turned out in force, demanding a bloody game against the rookie Cowboys. When a crazed fan threw a rock - taking out the much hyped blitzer, Hubris Rakarth all looked well for the Underworld warriors. But Hawthorn Tullaris sprinted cross field and sacked Skaven thrower Ligoti to set up a Cowboys defensive touchdown, quietening the crowd. A bloody game ensued with the Cult fouling at every opportunity but the ref held firm sending off two sneaky goblins. Much to the fans delight the Cult clawed their way back into the match when Ligoti sent a pass down field and Pickman Derby finally picked up the loose ball for an equaliser at the death of the first half.

The battered Cowboys trudged out for the second half a player down, but Rakarth, not to be denied his debut glory, maimed two Cults and scored the decisive touchdown. In the dieing moments of the game Azathoth himself had the chance to set up the equalizer, but when the crucial moment arrived, rather than throwing his eager team mate down field, to race past the depleated Cowboys defence, he dribbled stupidly on his head!

And so it was the bloodied dark elves who hobbled from the field with a debut victory and the Cult were left wondering what might have been.
