“Winning the toss the Cowboys decided to trust in their defence and took the kick off. Gran Clasico went with two Trolls and Fanatic Venag Oton for their offence, saving their other secret weapons for later. Venag spiralled through the Cowboys defence but could hit nothing but fersh air. Meanwhile Pogoer Racio Buol had the ball and was hopping down field protected by a green shield of goblins. But when rookie Lineman Eli Dwarfmalice made a crunching tackle on goblin sidestepper Vios Estul it opened the way for a ball winning Hawthorn Tularris blitz. Soon the ball was safely down field in the hands of Hubris Rakarth and the Cowboys set about beating up on the gobbos. 1-0 to the Cowboys at half time.

The second half brought more excitement as the Clasico's sneaked on their bombs and chainsaw. Amidst explosions and 'vrum-vroom' Jermiah Kool played it safe and held the ball deep waiting for an opening. Finally he took his chance and found Druella Blackheart with a quick pass and she was away for the Cowboy's second. 2-0 to the Cowboys and with time ticking away that looked to be it - but no! Troll Blocker Aitun Ajton hurled rookie goblin Carlin Sertio over the heads of the Cowboy's defensive line and away the little greenskin ran - touchdown! 2-1.

Kicking deep, the Clasicos hoped for a dramatic last minute equalizer, using their throw team-mate tactic, but Jeremiah Kool was ice cold under pressure again, making no mistake with his pick up and then, when the 'Troll hurled' blitz came Kool stood his ground and sent the glory seeking gobbo sprawling.

Another win for the Cowboys who will be hoping they have gained enough experience from their opening three matches for the challeneges to come...
