“A good solid game. The Master Chef was probably not the right choice for Inducements considering the Brawlers FF was so high comparitively. A wizard plus a second apoth and two babes would probably have been the better option.
Still, we played a competitive game. We really needed a bit of luck here or there to turn the tables and it never quite happened. The Tentacles and Foul Appearance of the Nurgles was really hamepering us in this game.”

After controversially being relegated back to Regionals the Brawler’s started their season by making a statement against league newcomer’s the Iosan Destors. The Bayshore Buff’s would have been gritting their teeth during the start of the game which saw the Destor’s move the ball through the defence and lay a quick early touchdown on. Fortunetly for the Gang Green, that was the end of the scoring for the Destor’s who really lacked the experience and star players to combat the Brawler’s grind. The Brawlers managed to lay on a touchdown at the end of the first half and take a few of the elves off the pitch. The second half was much like the end of the first half, with the Brawlers grinding their way to the 2-1 victory. Despite this, the Destor’s kept themselves in the game, seemingly at arms reach of a play on the ball until the final whistle.
