“Ritter von Baum got the game underway with a superb kick to the far corner. Whilst the Box Bloodelves set about pounding the Reavers front line Griff Oberwald led the charge after the ball, KOing a rookie thrall along the way. Spotting the danger emerging star Orlando Blood swept cross field blitzing and KOing the Reavers captain. How would the Reavers cope without their talismanic star? The Reavers formed a line and took the fight back to the Bloodelves who were reduced to 8 v 10. But when Zug attempted a clumsey piling on it left the door open in the middle of the line and the Bloodelves raced through. The touchdown looked inevitable and in the absence of Oberwald the Reavers were in need of a hero. Ritter von Baum under the spell of Gikta's Strength of the Bear sprinted around the Bloodelves line and sacked vampire quaterback Magdelena Slaughter. Suddenly the ball was away with Jacob von Altdorf sprinting towards the Bloodelves endzone and making it just on the stroke of half time. 1-0 to the Reavers.

Griff Oberwald was still seeing stars at the restart so again the Reavers had to play without their captain. Although Altdorf fumbled the pick up and was tyhen blitzed down by Magdelena, the danger was short lived as the Bloodelves players were stretchered off the pitch. The last hope for the bloodelves disapeared when Altdorf himself took out Magdelena and Ivan Kellhoofer had the honour of running in the winning touchdown. There was just enough time for Oberwald to come on for the brief final drive and he reiminded everyone why he is the Reavers no.1 with a brutal and potentially career ending blitz on rookie thrall Isaiah Savage.
