“With neither Treeman making an appearance at kickoff, this match against a Rotters team fielding a Beast was almost impossible. With the 'Berries quickly overwhelmed, the Rotters were in a perfect place to take an early lead. Unfortunately they had other ideas and decided to stall the ball for the remaining five turns, instead just beating up the slowly shrinking Halfling team.

The second half saw the return of both Treemen, that meant the Dingleberries had an opportunity for some high flying antics. Unfortunately, Nuffle once again damned the team to failing a selection of throw-teammate moves and a go-for-it that would've levelled the score. With very few remaining players, concession was considered by the Halfling coach, but always an optimist he decided to carry on even though there was no hope to drawing the match.

Somewhere in the mass of tackles, Wiggy sustained a serious injury that dropped his movement rate and Chumpy took a blow that will keep him out of the next game. With only rotten food to feed them at the Rotters' stadium, the Dingleberries made a swift exit to avoid any further pain.

A boring first half made worse by a stalling opponent. Second half was better, with me able to get some tactics into my play. Unfortunately the dice let me down big time, failing every essential roll. The luck factor above of 60% is utter rubbish. Only my optimism kept me from conceeding this match late in the first half.”
