The Darkside of the Force and super star Darth Bane, their mighty clawed piler, came with mean intentions. Red Blood undead came with a foul plan. However, it was soon evident that both teams required different strategies.
First Darth Bane could only muster shoves and weak bumps. Then the referee sent off every zombie foul.
Instead it was the Fur Kings and their body guards doing the piling on, as Faze killed the ball carrying beastman to begin Coach BattleLore's pain (apothecary invoked).
After the wizard's fireball fizzled rather ineffectively, dropping only the least important player in range, the chaos team seemed destined to take the lead. The ghoul Nightmare put a spanner in the works, stripping the ball from the onrushing warrior. Instead of freeing up and sending in an agile beastman, Coach BattleLore opted to risk using an unskilled warrior. The pickup failed and it was scoreless at half time, but not before Coach BattleLore paid a heavy price as Fur King Mean struck down Darth Bane for his 2nd casualty and Red Blood's 2nd kill of the match.
With the bashing working well for the undead, the chaos had to change tactics. Elf ball? Why not. Dodges, pick ups, passes, the magic started to happen as Darkside of the Force overturned the undead drive in spectacular fashion. Only a last ditch undead effort forced overtime.
Now down 5 players, including his 4 best, Coach BattleLore saw the toss go Coach Chainsaw's way and that more or less settled the game.”
