“I tend to agree with Clay... everything worked from the magic skaven dodge, grab ball in TD, dodge away, 5+ pass to gobbo, catch... to the numerous TTMs to pressure the ball carrier who had spilled the pickup.”
“Two games ago, the Harlequins beat the Fraud Squad 4-0 with an effortless performance.
Today, the result was reversed and it was perhaps my worst game luck wise in my nearly 10 years in fumbbl.
As a maths person, I understand outlying probability curves and I think I went to the full extent of a bell curve to the -nth probability with a horrendous game.
Sure, gumbi as always is an excellent coach to play against and the game was fun nevertheless, but the non-luck I had was obscene.
Each time a 2+ was needed on what could be described as a critical or vital roll, I rolled a 1. AG5 was failing every time.. usually with a reroll being burnt in the process.
The thrower, Tatterdemalion, had an awful game with failure after failure after failure.
An elf team against the light weight underworld managed zero passes and only 9 yards rushing, all of which was the fumbling Tatterdemalion struggling in the backfield.
But there is always next week, and I have Nurgle and despite the FA and Disturbing Presence I will probably throw 10 completions :-)”
