“We’ve looked at the tape, I can’t see a problem with our tactics. It’s the individuals that have to improve. Their players executed to perfection, pulling off the difficult stuff without a problem, while our guys couldn’t get the basics right. ” – Tomay, coach of the Bayshore Brawlers.
The obviously unhappy coach of the Brawlers is right. They’re struggling at the moment on the pitch. A string of poor performances has resulted in them landing outside the promotion zone in a regionals division they should be dominating, given they were meant to be in conferences.
Once again the Brawlers seemingly dominated the game, controlling the pace and providing the opportunity for a 2-1 victory after the first drive resulted in a quick score for the PSA. PSA battled on, pulling off desperate plays and capitalizing on the individual errors of the Brawlers, eventually getting the 1-0 victory.
It’s not a case of “back to the drawing board” for the SWL Supercoach. Rather he just needs some execution from his players.
The Bayshore Buff’s 3-2-1 Voting
3 – The Rover – One of the only Brawlers to do his job. Knocking out a few PSA Players and injuring one.
2 – Butch –Played well as the captain, but couldn’t get things going alone.
1 – Uncle Wally – Once again tried his best, handling the ball well. Unfortunetly, the rest of the team couldn’t help him into the endzone.
