The FFF were thirsty to get a shot at beating one of the rare races in blood bowl - goblins. Beating was not really what happened when looking back at the game though...
The game started nicely for the vamps with a blitz and the ball out wide and close to the LOS - an easy grab and TD for the vamps and one thrall emptied for his blood was a small price to pay.
Next drive started similar, without the blitz but this time a failed pickup led to a bit of fighting over the ball and eventually the ball was prone for the grab by Fenris Foul and the second TD was secured by turn 7.. No stalling as 4 thralls resided in the KO box at that time.
A long kick eliminated the risk of a thrown gobbo TD and second half started with 10 on each side. The vamps quickly went through the right side of the field and secured the third TD, but lost all thralls in the process!
With only three vamps on the LOS there wasn't much to do to stop the gobbos from finally getting a TD and almost a cleared pitch (a single stunned vamp was left at turn 16).
