Great game! The first half was a tear up, but the undead offense was a bit careless; it was a little by design as the overflowing chaos KO box was on my mind.

It was the 2nd half where the game came to life.

First Nuffle stomped on our chances at 0-0. The wizard and blitz combined to send the ball into the crowd, whom unkindly threw it back into our endzone. The ball handling ghoul dies on a snaked go for it, attempting to recover the ball and surely lead Red Blood to victory. Instead, a mad scramble back is in vain; 0-1.

Then somehow the depleted dead managed to push it to overtime. The weaker wight has the ball, caged against the side. A two headed beastman makes the magic dodge (5+) and the crowd consumes the undead creature. The crowd chucks the ball back, and a warrior catches it. Fur King Mean is angry, smashing down the chaos player and Faze shows the others how it is done; 1-1.

We win the toss! Receiving in overtime! Game set and match? No, the victory and a 2nd SMACK title are thrown carelessly away. A frenzied set of zombies abandon thoughts of the ball, and leave a ghoul to fend for itself. The ghoul, determined, still emerges with the ball - but without direction and is left stranded instead of passing. The coach (me!) is left to hold his head in his hands and wonder what might have been.

Fur King Big passes from this world to the next, giving what remained of his life in this failed conquest. Another shall raise in his place to lead the next one. We will remember you fondly, Fur King Big. The King is dead! Long live the King!
