“An interesting example of winning while losing. The khemri boys were just pounding my team into the dust--at the time they scored in turn 7 of the second half, they'd managed to ko or injure every single elf, so there wasn't a single one left on the pitch, stunned or otherwise. For the turn 8 kickoff, I had a single elf to field, who of course had to be on the LOS facing a lot of angry blockers. Fortunately, he dodged away out of their reach without incident...
My 3 scores came, ironically enough, due to the poor weather. There was a blizzard for much of the game, making it virtually impossible for the ag 2 khemri team to pick up the ball, and the one time they did pick it up, they bobbled the throw. My ag 4 elves, when not being destroyed, were quite able to pick up the ball and advance it in for 3 quick scores. We were just a lucky block away from possibly taking it in a 4th time despite having only 2 elves on the pitch, but my opponent was very successful in knocking my guys over with 1d blocks. He also was quite successful in fouling my guys. Hence, a rematch is not likely...”
