“This match, which was eventually to be decided by a coin flip, was full of enterprising plays and some strange dice rolls.
The Pub Brawlers had the extra player, but only one player with block, while Lafarikai had all but one Ogre with the block skill. The Pub Brawlers scored first with Bouncer and his team mates charging towards a well placed kick. But the Brawlers started the 2nd half with 2 orges in the KO box after some mean tackling and the Mephist coach making use of the Get the Ref call during the 1st half.
In the 2nd half the Brawlers battled bravely but conceeded in the final turn of the 2nd half as Drasuolis passed his stupid roll and romped home for the equaliser.
The game went to overtime... but little was to change the scoreline, although the Brawlers kept the Lafarikai deep in their own half, and were very close to stealing the game, but the Lafarikai defence held to the last.
The ref flipped the double headed coin into the air, as coach Mephist called heads... obviously some brown paper envelopes changing hands there! :-P
All in all a good game... with coach Mephist pleased to progress to the next knock out round, and coach Wotfudboy pleased to remain undefeated on the field.”
“Indead, that was special game and verry good. How i told to Wotfudboy - I hate, then fate is decided by coin. I had the same case few months ago. That time i lost coin flip and know, how you feeling, then you don't lost but still eleminated. Thanks to Wtfudboy for good word and for good game. You are good coach, verry good. Good luck!”
