“The crowd started the entertainment off by invading the pitch and mainly stunning Hobgobbos. Unbothered by this the Chaos Dwarfs immediately ko'd Dwarfbreaker and smashed the hip and the career of promising, agile thrower Throt Lobitz. Our apo had no idea how to sort it out. The Bull Centaur went back and couldn't gather the ball so our GRs and Hugruck dashed towards him. Headcrusher momentarily looked like he would stumble as the Rat Ogre blitzed Fifi but then recovered and crushed the Dwarfs head in! The Cwarf apothecary had a chance to help but however was told to refrain and save his talents for one of the stars. Headcrusher was then ko'd and the BC picked up the ball and advanced. But in a great effort Skratz Dashitz took his legs from under him and grabbed the ball. Although he was taken down too he got back up and made the td.
As they received again the Cwarfs ko'd another two rats and Ikit's foul kick just got himself sent off. Zloos though took down the BC but couldn't cope with all the players around him who brought him down so the Centaur comfortably regained the ball again to score before half time. Tasse the hobgobbo was also sent off by the eagle-eyed ref.
Most of our ko'd players recovered this time but just as things looked good on the player numbers front a crazed fan threw a rock at Skratz Dashitz and smashed his hand!
Next kick for the 2nd half was well placed by the Cwarfs on a flank. But crucially as they moved all players to that side Zloos and three supporters darted off to the other side and Zloos made the 2nd td. But not before the powerful hitters retired Ikrit with a heavy headblow, badly hurt Skeet and ko'd Talus.
As we kicked off another badly hurt rat left our team in tatters but Jerry dropped the ball. Headcrusher was badly hurt too but a heroic effort from Hugruck supported by Ritz Ditz brought down Jerry in our half. But he got up and made the equalizer while the rest of the Cwarfs kept on hitting.
So we took quite a smashing there with a couple more retirements but there were a few good plays as we targetted the ball to get the draw. Security must be beefed up against rock carrying fans!
