“This one was destined to be a bloody match. Valnir struck first blood when he pounded Mystique into the ground right after the opening kick. She was lifeless when they drug her from the field, but the fast acting apothecary managed do do something right and surprisingly she was able to return to the game on the next kick off.

The clumsy beasts helped the marvels tremendously, and Poison Ivy made them pay. A trio of Marvels surrounded Mugrar, the wood bee ball carrier. Ivy then blitzed him, hurting him badly, scooped up the ball and put the first point on the board for the Marvels.

Having returned to the game, Mystique was looking for vengeance and a bit of blood. Tartail did not stand a chance. He glanced to see where the ball was and she pounced digging her nails deep into his eye sockets and into the mushy goo behind them. This time he was dead and there was no Apothecary to help him.

Enraged by the death of Tartail, Valnir retaliated with a vicious block to the ribs of the enchantress before. Ribs cracked and the air left her lungs. The trainer thought a lung was punctured, but it turns out she would only be out the remainder of this match and probably the next one.

With the second half kick off, the fans got into it, doing what the marvels could not. They managed to take out one of the giant chaos warriors. A rock from the crowd struck Ba'al squarely on the kneecap and the big fella buckled in pain. Coach Kondor nodded approvingly at the section where the rock had come from. "Those fans must be from Philli he thought."

This opened up a hole Catwoman was able to exploit. Moving quickly down the field she scored putting the Marvels up by two.

Still there was blood to be had so they kicked off again. With a kick in the shin, Catwoman followed up her score by crushing Khazrak's ankle. He too needed to be helped to the bench.

Still, Ivy was not done. She too got her first kill and her second casualty of the match when she blindsided Gorsqualor. The crack of his neck was heard throughout the stands and was ment by cheers of glee in the stands. Catwoman would come in again and score the Marvel's third point of the day.

Morghur could not let this insult go quietly. When it was clear Catwoman would score and there was nothing the Chaos squad could do about it. He drew the final blood of the match by sacrificing the nearest Marvel. Pulling the small shank he carried in his shorts for emergencies, he savagely attacked Morgan Le Fay. This time there was no time for vengeance, and that murderer will have to be dealt with at a later date.

With an eye on Morghur, Coach Kondor extended his hand to Coach Cheappoison. Thanks for the match coach. I hope we get a chance to play each other again.
