“Pandemonium! Exuberant cheers! The sounds of victory...

For the Halflings, these cheers are for the fact that the managed to score a touchdown against a superior Vampire team, and kept all of their players alive while doing it. For these tiny, little warriors, this is what winning the championship would feel like. In all reality, this is as close to winning anything as they'll probably ever get.

Highlights:

An impressive(and greatly underpowered) blitz performed by
Jack "Flapjack" Sugarspin against vampire Heraldika during turn 8 of the first half. This hit resulted in the a loose ball, and prevented Vampirette from scoring their third unanswered point in the first half of the match.

An amazing dash up the sideline by
Theodor "Stone" Soup in the beginning of the second half, including picking up the ball and sneaking past a vampire, unfortunately culminating in a failed blitz attempt against another vampire a little further down the field. But, great attempt, Teddy! We're sure you'll get 'em next time!

And finally, thanks to some bad luck on Vampirette's part, with a fumbled pick-up, followed by a turnover suffered due to the affects of "Bloodlust", that halfling hero Theodor made a mad dash over those five open spaces to grab the uncovered football, and dove the one remaining space, over the goal line. Touchdown, Iced Honey Buns!
