First drive Big King raced down the flank with gobbos supporting him to get an early td. Herdy Gerdy Gerdy was gored by a Mino but otherwise no big hits.
On the Foulers drive suddenly they kicked into their violent gear. Another 8 of our players had left the pitch by half time! But a clash of heads against the carrier by leaping Big King, other tussles and an eventual trip meant they couldn't get the score they wanted. Second half the chainsaws were banned and we had some kos back but still outmanned. A vicious bite by Devil on a mino and a sending off, combined with another mino mooing slowed their drive but they still comfortably got by us. They decided to leave us time to score in the hope they could steal one from us. As our squigs were becoming more dumb Big King was left open and taken down so for a moment it seemed Clem's plan would work. But Big King leapt up, grabbed the ball, evaded grabbing hands and managed to get away to get the winner. Great match.”
