“Pretty straight forward game here. The Dwarves made rolls, while the Vampires did not. Well below 50% on his Hypno tries (started 0 for 4).

Vamps went up 1-0 in 3 turns or so, and the dwarves marched down the field to tie it up at halftime--tho the turn 8 TD required a 4+ dodge, a 2+ dodge and 2 GFI's, so it was not easy by any means.

2nd half, we both still had 11 men each. I marched down and scored on my turn 6 (I did stall one turn, but I don't like stalling and he managed to pop the ball out despite my efforts, so I went ahead and scored), leaving them 3 turns to score the tying TD. 10 players each now, and the Vampiette's lined up for a hard push on the top of the pitch, so I kicked it to the bottom and close to the LOS. BLITZ meant I was able to get 3 dwarves near/under the ball, but couldn't catch it. Gertrude was able to get the ball out after moving a couple of players deep into dwarven territory, but failed the dodge out and since she had also failed Bloodlust, was removed from the pitch. This allowed me to get the ball and start heading for the EZ. Terminator Tim still got tackled, but in the end was able to pass the ball to a waiting Longlegs in the EZ for a rare 3rd Dwarven TD on turn 8.

Finally down 9 dwarves to 10 vamps, the last kick off just saw some dwarves get knocked down and a Vampire pass completed.

Oh, and Helmut lasted 3 turns, was stunned one of them, and stunned on player on the turn the VAMPS scored, so he was not too useful this game.

2 skills, Highjohn gets Mighty Blow, Sebastian gets guard. Apothecary did help Bam Bam, turning a -1ST into a MNG (it was early tho and I almost didn't use it then..glad I did now tho).
