“Chaos; not a team Halflings generally enjoy playing against, but coming across a ten man Chaos team, the Dingleberries took the opportunity to gain some experience against the evil powers.

Kicking off, the Halflings made a charge forward, hoping to inflict some early damage on the armoured Chaos Warriors. With a few turns of punching and kicking, the 'Berries managed to strip the ball from the Chaos team. This early bonus was swiftly cancelled out when M Khaos, Chaos Warrior, pulled out a set of Knuckledusters and struck Bingo square on the jaw, killing him instantly. Scooping up the ball, S Demon charged towards the 'Berries endzone, hoping to open the scoring. Angered by the death of their teammate, a handful of Halflings rushed back to take down the ballcarrier. Pushing him to the ground, the defenders watched as the ball fell into the hands of Nephency CO, a Beastman who trotted off towards the line, only to stumble and lose the ball mere inches outside the endzone. The halftime whistle signalled relief for the Halflings who were able to regroup for the second half.

Treeman Jeff turned up just in time to help the Halflings as they received the kickoff, slowly advancing to attempt to gain ground on a Chaos team starting off deep in their own half. A few turns of blocking saw the Chaos team once again gaining control after beastman Total Abuse killed Willem with a particularly violent headbutt. With this leaving the beastman in the clear with the ball, it was up to Bungo to surge back and push him towards the sideline. This brave but foolish move left him alone in defence. Seeing his teammate in need of help, Chumpy ordered Jeff to throw him backwards. Ultimately a stupid idea as Jeff swung Chumpy over his shoulder and straight into the ground, killing him too!

Having not learnt from his teammate's earlier error, Total Abuse carried the ball to within feet of the Halfling's endzone and stopped. The chaos team then spent a few turns beating up the defenceless Halflings. Total Abuse obviously got distracted and forgot to step over the line, instead prefering to watch the violence happening behind him. With Bongo heroically getting a tackle zone onto the Beastman, the final turn saw him sacrificing himself to stop the touchdown. Summoning up his strength, Bongo managed to knock the beastman to the ground, but caused himself a serious injury in the process. With no one to stop him, Total Abuse regained his footing and attempted to get the glory that he had disregarded for so many previous turns. With a spinning head he stepped into the endzone to retrieve the ball, only for it to spin wildly out of his hands and end the game a nil-nil tie. Bongo's efforts had not been in vain.

An insane game that was as violent as it was memorable. Thanks to Dansk who was a great opponent, playing a Chaos team without being too delibrately violent (even though it doesn't seem that way) and being able to laugh off some of the most appauling luck I've seen for a while. Some amazing moves made this one of the funniest, most exciting and amazing games of Blood Bowl I have ever played. Thanks again Dansk.”
