Went 1-0 with a normal Elf play down the wing. Opponents drive I force an opponing for a 2D strip ball, catcher run for the end zone GFI 1, sure feet 1. Opponent picks up the ball in the end zone after 2 GFI's with no rerolls, but leaves the chance to surf, wardancer leap for the 2D fails, reroll, failed.

After the opponent scores it's time for the Elves to make an opening, but with only 4 players. 1 Elf held back with the ball, 3 move down 1 wing. Opponent over commits players leaving a huge gap down the side. 3 Elves move into the gap, 4th punts to a place the opponent can't reach. Next turn just have to grab the ball and run for the end zone, but a snaked dodge takes that chance away too.

With a key catcher now having -AV, a Lineman down -MA and Nuffle granting a 1 on the winnings I wonder if I should even have logged in today, but sometimes you can do everything right but still come out smelling of crap!”
