“From the start this was no meeting of flashy baller teams. Three rats put down on the first turn with serious injuries. A fouth followed a couple turns later. Only the timely blitz of Chita Man Killer stalled the elven march to the endzone. He lived up to his name, ripping the spine from Lanrence and scattering the ball away. It was a scrum at midfield with the elves unable to gain momentuem despite a numerical advantage.

The second half started with the elves fielding 9 and the rats having 8. Thankfully for the Sewer Brigade, one of the rats was Pulo Red Eyes. Some say he bathes in Bloodweiser to keep his coat shiny. A shallow kick forced Pulo to dash up to midfield and scamper behind his blockers on the left side. They attempted to clear a path down the sideline, but could not make anything happen. The elves quickly closed the door and brought the pressure on Pulo. Over pursuit on the left flank opened a narrow window to the right and Pulo dashed through, evading his erstwhile attacker. Leaving the elve clutching air, clods of dirt flew from his claws, the endzone in sight. The elves yelled in frustration, kicking a downed rat and knocking him out. A couple of elves pursued, but it was to late, the door was open and Pulo was not to be denied.

1-0 for the Sewer Brigade, but with 4 turns left, the match was anything but decided. The elved came out pushing, but couldn't open the hole they needed early. the momentum stalled once again at midfield as the rats showed that althought they were battered, they were far from broken. The elven catched, Courreux made a condicent dash to the far left side of the field, a lineman in tow to guard him. The speed of two determined rats were enough to knock him to the pitch andscamper away with the ball, ending the hope for a equilizing TD.”
