Yeah, that was this game. One wolf poised to score, I go for a blitz with the cpomb wolf which was -2D on the frenzy dice - I rerolled the first 2D from a push/skull, got pushes, and hit a skull on the -2D. (Shouldn't have made the blitz in the 1st place, should have just scored, but even so, should have saved the reroll for the -2D.) The wolf died, but regenerated.
After that... a total dicing. The only luck (and I really mean *only* luck) was that regeneration and another flesh golem died and regenerated.
Not a single one of the badly hurts regenerated. At half time, with 3 players knocked out, 2 babes proved useless as both wights stayed (1,1) in the KO box. The wizard fizzled (1) to finalize the wiping out of my inducements.
I failed 5 pick up rolls (2 at 5+, 3 at 4+) whilst Jesterius was pulling off passes to his minotaur. The failed pickups ensured that the only real bad luck Jesterius encountered (2 double skulls in a turn) wasn't pivotal.
With 2 players left at the end of the 2nd half, it was an easy win in the end for Red Magic II.”
