“It was an interesting match, showing off what can happen when an agile elf team and a dodge, block/dodge amazon team throw down. It turned out to be way more physical than coach Kondor and I probably expect it to be, even though only one casualty was inflicted, both teams combined for 79 blocks. A lot of elves and amazons were knocked into the dirt today.

Kondor made excellent use of the elves' speed, completely nullifying the amazon offense, creating turnovers, and capitalizing upon them. He showed great strategic placement of his players. My utmost respect to him and his team.

The one shinning 'zon moment was the 7-turn "Amazon Flee-Flicker" play that encompassed the second half of the match. With the defense pressing in, the amazons swung down, before having to swing back up, only to be forced to break through the middle, and streak for the endzone. The amazon line finally succeeded in clearing some elves off of the field, opening the way through for the blitzer Michelle Cushing to make some headway towards the goal line.

In all seriousness, there should be a lot more luck attributed to this spiritual touchdown than skill.

It was a fun match, and I look forward to facing off against Kondor again in the future.”
