“An improbable win for Bouncin'more given not only their recent string of games but especially vs. the Honey Badgers, who have pounded them in both their last two meetings.

And pound them they did. Two dead, two perm'd, despite having two apos for the match. (Both rips came LATE in the match after the apos were used up).

This game saw some incredible bad luck for the Badgers thru much of the first half, but they managed to pull out a 1-1 score at the half anyway.

Bouncin'more took advantage of a 'max protect' setup to advance the ball in the 2nd, but down players and pressured couldn't stall and scored early.

Nocturne Falls responded by moving a cage forward, but were hounded constantly by the Frogs. When they failed a decent cage due to risky player marking by the Batrachians, the Wizard was called in. ZZZZZZ-fizzle. Despite this setback, the Batrachians still managed to steal the ball from the exposed ghoul, only to suffer a TO on snakes in an attempt to secure the steal.

The Honey Badgers re-grouped, got the ball back, and caged up a 2nd score with one turn remaining, killing ST4 lino Jah 'Mon' Reeds in the process.

A riot (presciently called by Coach Harbog) allowed Bouncin'more a remote shot at the win, given they were out of rrs. With a series of Nuffle-favored rolls they pulled it off though, taking a 3-2 lead into the last turn of the match.

The Honey Badgers gave a go at a OTT but botched it badly, so settled for knocking around the LOS and eventually fouling a rookie lino...for ANOTHER RIP!

Bouncin'more comes away with the victory, but has lost nearly 600k TV to RIPS or perms in the last two games.”
