“During a rough hitting first half, the Guardians were able to clear off seven reptiles before scoring a touchdown on the last turn. Despite their alleged leaping abilities, the Marsh Dragons could not seem to leap over the humans.

The second half opened with the slann receiving the ball with a depleted roster of seven and facing eight humans. The slann laid out some wicked injuries on the humans while losing one of their rookies to the tender ministrations of Rex Splode. A Pekodo, the star blitzer ,lept free of the sideline and dashed to the opposite side of the field. He was run down by a couple humans, but was able to keep his footing from the blitz. A quick dodge and he was in for the slann's only score.

The humans recieved a shallow kickoff near midfield and began to run it down the sideline. They made it within spitting distance of the goal and were thwarted briefly by a slann making a rare sucessful leap and blitz. The ball was chucked across the field by Pekodo and was caught in desperation. The Guardians had one last shot to make the winning score. Monster Girl moved up to the ball carrier and another human blitzed him and knocked the ball loose. The ball squirted loose and ended up in the beefy arms on Monster Girl. The coach was not impressed.”
