“Legendary team the Lone Stars where in town and 30,000+ fans had paid the gate money hoping to see a classic encounter.

Well the two teams didn't let their fans down. An entertaining game saw the the game swing one way and then the other, with the Stars taking the lead after the Dragonriders had blitzed their lines, but the Chaos wizard's lightning bolt had freed the ball. The elves hit back with a touch down of their own. With elves falling under the chaos onslaught, it looked like the Lone Stars might be able to sneak a 2-1 half time lead, but a failed pass at the death saw both teams go in for their interval oranges level pegging.

Both apothecary's had been used by this time and both had managed to turn fatal injuries to minor ones, with Fingolfin and Sansou both having to miss their next matches respectively.

The second half brought a quick Dragonriders touchdown after some sterling work from coach Qaz to tie up the elves players. In response the Lone Stars worked their way down field, the elves backed off and then saw their opportunity, two tough dodges, Aurora next to the ball carrier, snakes on the block turn over. Chance gone. The elves re-group and just as it looked like the Lone Stars would be unable to pierce the Dragonriders' defence a destructive blitz on the final turn allowed Everlast to dodge over the line for the game equalising score.

2-2 all probably the right result in the end.

In other news, Leonal Mecii became the first Dragonriders player to reach the 50 game mark. He celebrated it in his usual style, by spending a lot of time on the LoS and taking a couple of boots to the head. Good work Leo!”
