The reputation of the Pink Troll Killers preceded them heading into the final of this Legend SMACK.
As such, they tore through the Alley in the 1st half, falling 1 player short of a clear pitch as Sing survived a few fouls. It was an ominous start, the 2nd turn dealing 2 casualties against my team - including the cpomb wolf - that both failed to regenerate. Nuffle spared further casualties with useful regeneration of the rest, more serious in nature.
Those regenerations and the babe gave me a chance as the teams lined up 11 vs 11 for the 2nd half.
Whilst the dice weren't as nice for me on the 2nd half drive as they were for Punk77 in the 1st, it was made up for by the defensive rolls being horrible as 2 snaked go for its put a halt in any chances he had of stopping the equalizer.
Pig Sty Alley got to receive in overtime, the babe and regenerations proving vital by this point as it was now 11 on 8 in favour of the Alley and the numbers told; there was little chance for the Pink Troll Killers to get close to the ball with only a solitary bull providing any pace or mobility.
Punk77 will look back on neglecting to use the apothecary on a badly hurt bull centaur from the 2nd half as his main mistake. He stormed off after the match (left without even a goodbye) so perhaps could work on his etiquette as well.
The kung fu of Pig Sty Alley wins the day! Champions of the FUMBBL SMACK Sched LEG CV I! Merry Christmas!

Shortly after this game, these 2 teams were paired in a Warpstone Open VIII qualifier. Punk77 quit after 5 turns when in a probable-loss position, then no-showed for the next week. So this was a double victory! Huzzah!”
