“A top tier clash of the undead saw the Vipers face off against the Legends in what many predicted to be a title decider.

The undead bought a wizard along to the party and won the coin toss electing to receive. Opening exchanges were fairly balanced and a boot to the cranium ended Ghoul Jeffrey's involvement with a KO. Stubborn the zombie however stumbled allowing the vamps to steal the ball from the statfreak ghoul Turgon and sprint away towards the endzone. The wizard lept up and threw a bolt of lighting which arced threw the stadium air to fizzle at the vamps feet. Laughing all the way to the endzone the vamps took a 1-0 lead into the half.

A stern halftime speech from Necromancer Aruashnar fired the undead legions into the second period. Zombie Turgon was keen to impress and lept to intercept a vamp pass allowing the undead to tie the score at one apiece.

A desperate period of play followed with the ball changing hands and the advantage swinging between the teams on an almost turnly basis. The vamps scored to regain the lead allowing the undead a shot at at tie with two turns remaining. Despite Turgon slipping into the endzone the ball prove too slippery for Cabra who was unable to make the critical pass.
