After a moderately successful career spanning 20 games, Taryna was becoming a real part of the team. Each and every game was another dagger into the heart of Trxxl. He had sworn revenge, but had never had the opportunity to exact it on the manipulative witch!

Then it came, the perfect opportunity. With the Plauge cruising to a victory after a comprehensive first half display from new signing Vander Khaine (three touchdowns). Coach shouts for Trxxl to get on the pitch and patch up star lineman Rúmil Ancalimë.

"Sure thing boss," shouts the apo. As he runs onto the pitch, he discards a banana peel at Taryna's feet which he has taken the time to paint green and jogs on to where Rúmil is lying bleeding on the line of scrimmage. In his eagerness to see if his plan is going to work, he fails to properly pop Rúmil's skull into place, leaving the lineman with a permanently weaker skull.

"Boss will never notice," he thinks to himself as he makes it off the field.

The very next block, star Ogre Phleggg hits Taryna, she tries to dodge out of the way, treads on the banana peel and goes down in a heap. Her collar bone jutting out of her flesh, sprays blood all over the turf and the surrounding ogres.

The plague fans go silent, but an eagle-eyed supporter notices a huge smile on Trxxl's face for just the merest of moments. What evil work is at play here.
