Second half started out very much Vamps but turned quickly. After trying to stall when they should have scored, the Vamps found the ball surrounded by orcs and short handed. Then came the hilarity of the T14 Vamp turn which culminated in an 11 roll, 8 move play that sequenced 2+, 4+, 4+, 2+, 2+, 4+, 2+, 2+, 3+, 2+ (there was a dodge reroll somewhere in there) that mister super vamp somehow pulled off for a score.
After that, the orcs made 1 final strong push but were undercut by bad dice (T15 snakes with no reroll) allowing the vamps to attack the only orcs that were in scoring range for the final turn. A both down stun from a thrall on the goblin made a final score nearly impossible.
Was a great game and good fun. Orcs played a good game and was a very fun opponent. Orcs had this one but for a crazy turn of vampiric elfishness :) ”
