#17 George Hardbrook – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
#19 Ian Trueorc – Broken Ribs (MNG)
This crazy game of leapfrog tied my own personal high score. Simply put, we could not lose -- the whole game was conducted in pouring rain, but how's a frog going to let that hurt him? The team was on it from turn 1 to turn 16, with Gene scoring his second consecutive hat trick, and Frog himself chipping in two TDs. Gene also passed to Louise for the t16 TD that put the capper on the win.

The humans outblocked us in both quantity and results, but both of our injuries were to journeymen. Meanwhile, it was rather a grisly game on the other side, and we didn't even have to lay a finger on them. A catcher smashed his knee on a dodge and an errant rock (one of several this game -- they hit both teams) flew out of the stands to crush a lineman's head, but we can take neither credit nor blame.

Frog increased his speed in the post-game sequence -- which we couldn't exactly turn down, but it adds another step (no pun intended) to the notoriously slow Slann blitzer development process. Gene, Louise and Mr. Fischoeder (who got the MVP for standing on the line not doing much) also skilled up.
